The alumni club of the M. Sc. programme "Management of Protected Areas" was founded on June 16, 2007. It serves as platform for the exchange of current and former students, the management, advisory board and lectureres of the programme. The alumni club aims to connect its members and support their professional carreers.

The alumni club is registered as an association in Klagenfurt, Austria. It is managed by an elected board consisting of alumnis and representatives of the University of Klagenfurt and E.C.O. Institute for Ecology, Klagenfurt.

It's also open for acknowledged external experts and organisations as well as supporters of the MSc programme or its alumni club.
