Rebalancing Imbalances: Attractive Scholarships provided
Due to the economic background of participants from different countries the value of the admission fee and the travel costs differ widely. In co-operation with governmental institutions and private sponsors the University of Klagenfurt provides attractive scholarships in order to give participants from less favoured countries the chance to take part in the programme. The scholarships follow the GDP per capita of the countries.
Scholarships for MSc “Management of Protected Areas” are provided by a number of institutions and programs. The application for these grants has to be discussed on individual bases. It has to be proven that no other funding is available. (* T & A: costs for travel and accommodation, are estimated by an average of 2.000 € depending on demand by individual participant (distance, requirements, etc).
