“Benvenuti a Venezia”
“Welcome to Venice”. Engelbert Ruoss, Director of UNESCO Venice office welcomed the participants of the Klagenfurt MSc.programme “Management of Protected Areas” to Palazzo Zorzi. He and his team gave first-hand information on tasks and activities of UNESCO, about Biosphere Reserves and World Heritage Sites. The guests stayed in Venice for five intensive days: seminars, discussions and an excursion to the lagoons.
This visit in Venice is part of the programme´s concept: get a personal impression of different institutions, of different sites and of different personalities. The management of Protected Area is not only to be learned in theory.
The next programme starts 2009!
The MSc.programme “Management of Protected Areas” is an outstanding educational offer for highly skilled and motivated experts. Deadline for application for the next programme is June 2009. So there is still some time left to apply for scholarships or funds, clearify with the employer and prepare the application.
