Relaunch of Klagenfurt MPA
The international Masters degree programme “Management of Protected Areas” at the Alpen-Adria-Universität starts with a relaunch in September 2015 and looks forward to the applications of the prospective students.
Relaunch meets anniversary
“After a one-year break, we are enlightened and proud to announce the relaunch of the masters programme Management of Protected”. Prof. Heike Egner and Michael Jungmeier directors of the MPA programme, have good news to be shared: The fifth round of the course will start on September 8th 2015 at the University of Klagenfurt. This relaunch is not only the new start of the course in technical and content-related terms, but it marks a milestone in the history of this outstanding training by celebrating its 10th anniversary.
In the former classes, the different cultures, the various professional backgrounds and the multiple origins lead to a great composition of the groups. “Again we strive for such a pick’n’mix of participants, and we would like to invite interested people, to submit their applications”, notices Elisabeth Kreimer.
A new face
Elisabeth, who is the new “communication face” in the MPA team, says, “By now, we are pleased about a number of convincing applications for the start in September, but there are still places available”. Besides the conservation specialists, the course particularly addresses newcomers from different professional fields.
